Let Doctors do their job. There is no national emergency to delegate vaccination to Pharmacists. Most GP Clinics are not currently overwhelmed with vaccinees. Availability of vaccines is not an issue unless there is hoarding.

A budget is about expected income and planned expenses so that resources can be alloted appropriately. What has the GP's CONSULTATION FEES got to do with the national budget? Is the Govt subsidising the GPs on anything? Any tax relief? Or subsidising rakyat on GP fees?
Unregulated TPAs, purely business entities, dictating how to consult, investigate, and now what medicines to prescribe. All these with an unrevised 33-year-old consultation fees. Where is the Malaysian healthcare headed?@KKMPutrajaya@anwaribrahim@DrDzul

Recognise the fact that Family GPs are the ones reigning in rising healthcare cost and preventing high hospital expenditure. Work with the GPs and not against them.
Healthcare crisis hitting all income groups https://t.co/cHtUezp6Ga
Reviewing the GPs consultation fee doesn't cost the government a sen at all and yet the government is dragging it's feet here, citing healthcare cost increase

GPs play a crucial role in Primary Healthcare. They are the backbone of the healthcare system, and NOT the seemingly good for nothing cough and cold doctor.

So sad to hear that the public is choosing their family GPs by the list price of medicine and not by how capable their family Dr is in managing their health. Guess cheaper is better. https://t.co/NoLWZ4jJEF
Malaysians who have stayed overseas and visiting foreigners have praises for our GP system due to its easy accessibility and affordability which is missing even in developed countries. https://t.co/mbqllioqwZ
GPs have been serving the public without any subsidy, assistance nor any income tax exemptions from the Govt in the midst of cost control measures by the Govt. It is time to look into this if GPs are to continue offering low cost healthcare to the public. https://t.co/59q2JzAOqi
4 important points were brought out by @drhalimahali and @Kelvinyii88 (which have been highlighted by medical associations) :
1. The public health care system can’t manage its own patient load, be it in hospitals or health clinics. GPs have been helping a lot amid the load of patients in government premises. Let GPs as allies, rakan KKM @KKMPutrajaya.
2. Issues like mandatory prescriptions, itemised billing, or drug price displays should be placed under MOH’s jurisdiction instead of other ministries.
3. TPAs usually take a cut of between 10 - 15 % from the bill, affecting the sustainability of private clinics and the quality of patient care that could force GPs to consider cost-saving measures or to adjust their charges to prevent losses.
4. Special committee by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) & the MOH to regulate TPAs, with an appropriate floor rate for GP fees.

We hope for proper immediate response from PMX @anwaribrahim, TPM @DrZahidHamidi & MOH @DrDzul.
Thank you.
And along the way, they are killing off the lifeline being provided by private GPs. Soon we will see a shortage of family GPs as well. https://t.co/FGvRzufq2N
GPs made the scapegoat in the failure to reign in escalating healthcare cost. Go after the real issues plaguing the healthcare system. ghttps://codeblue.galencentre.org/2025/08/gps-made-the-bogeyman-to-hide-government-failures-dr-john-teo/
