@flaedugator So proud of our Sharks!

Today I spotted several students tracking election results during lunch. They were engaging in informed discussion about the electoral college and the meaning of the data they were reading. That’s an election win in my book! #alwayssharkweek

Our Exploratory Spanish teacher dressed in Día de los Muertos attire today in honor of teaching about Mexican culture. She looked absolutely beautiful. And bonus...many kids inquired about how to sign up for her class.

Appreciating our amazing community this morning. Thanks to The Bike Shop and Dpty. Hanner for keeping our kids safe on their bikes, and for reminding us about taking care of one another.

We are thrilled to meet our 6th grade Sharks today and to welcome all Sharks back tomorrow! We can’t wait to make this a great year! #alwayssharkweek #sharksareawesomesoweareawesome

During this crisis, our grocery store clerks, delivery drivers, transit and utility workers—along with so many others—have been selflessly getting up every day to make sure we have the things we need. And for that, we say thank you.

It was fun cheering for all of our kids with the SMS Admin team. The Jaguars were victorious over our own HOMS Sharks in tonight’s championship game but both teams worked hard and had a great season. #ALLinmartin #everyweekissharkweek @EbonyJarrett

@flaedugator I couldn’t agree more! So impressed by our talented kids and coaches. @flaedugator and I have become serious #sharkfans

There were more than a few tears of joy today when some of our former Rockets (now JBHS Falcons) stopped by in their caps and gowns to visit our fifth graders and a few favorite teachers. We are so proud of all these college bound seniors!! @Vogel4860 @MCSDFlorida #rocketlife
