Ohio Supreme Court Justice Sharon L. Kennedy visited MaCI’s Veteran Housing Unit. Military Unit offenders as well as Mr. Heard, DWO, Sgt. M. Bailey, Mr. M. Reger, Unit Manager, Ms. V. Workman, UMC, and Warden J. Noble were present during Judge Kennedy’s tour.
At LorCI two guest speakers were brought in to discuss information related to a father’s value and helping prepare children for college. Jowan Smith discussed financial aid info & helping kids transition. Charesha Barrett spoke on the importance of making goals & staying focused.
Unit Management Staff from the CRC volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House in Columbus, Ohio. Staff prepared and served lunch for families who are currently staying at RMHC. The CRC Seven Step Group donated the funds that covered the costs of the food for the luncheon. #vounteer
At CCI, the Employee Activity Committee recently donated $1,315 to the Good Samaritan Food Bank in Ross County. Warden Shoop presented the donation just in time for the holidays when so many families are in need. Thanks to all the staff that bought items through fundraisers.
