Centralized banking rails—ACH, credit cards, etc.—are showing cracks. Crypto’s rise as a decentralized counterbalance could reshape finance in our lifetime. As a gold bug, I’m curious: @PeterSchiff, how do you see the shift of financial instruments (not currency) to blockchain infrastructures?
Tonight’s debate was an embarrassing display, from candidates to moderators. How can we expect to lead the world when we can’t even act maturely on our own stage? Who’s your pick after that chaos?

100% agree, @comicdavesmith. The political landscape often feels like a corrupted media-manufactured cult of personality, where figures like Kamala suddenly become ‘rockstars’ overnight. We need to orient ourselves towards virtue and truth, acknowledging past mistakes and fostering real civil discourse. It’s time to break free from the machine and seek what’s real. #TruthOverPolitics #CivilDiscourse #VirtueFirst
Politics is all such a fake religion and nothing demonstrates that more than Kamala Harris. Six weeks ago nobody would have pretended she was anything impressive but now she is a phenomenon, rockstar, beckon of joy. These people are in a cult and they worship the machine.
RFK Jr. teaming up with Trump to tackle war, chronic disease, food freedom, and free speech is a game-changer. United on these critical issues, they might just shake the foundations of the establishment. #RFKTrump#EndTheWars#HealthFreedom#FreeSpeechMatters
Anyone watching the Paris Olympics opening ceremony? Worst part seems to be the commercials, with the actual content not far behind. Not really something my almost 5th-grade daughter should be seeing. Call me bluenose, but between the PAC ads for the newly anointed Dem candidate on "Choice" and the provocative elements, it all seems very adult to call this event kid-friendly. I guess I shouldn't let them stay up this late, even in the summertime.
Such relevant and important historical context! Americans need to acknowledge that we have the government we allow. See what important leaders said about U.S.C. in the 1780s and the impacts of their criticisms on that parchment barrier then and now.

The crew in VA and PA back in 1776 had some relevant predictions based on their concerns about centralizing too much power in the executive.

Hydrocarbons have been, and will likely continue to be, the lifeblood of human progress. The past century’s leaps in development, from life expectancy to quality of life, are intertwined with our utilization of hydrocarbons. It’s not just about powering our homes and cars; it’s about powering human potential. @AlexEpstein’s work, especially the compelling graphs [https://t.co/WctejICT4U], highlights the undeniable connection between hydrocarbons and human flourishing. As we navigate the future, let’s challenge the myths and be wary of false prophecies that threaten to roll back the clock on our achievements.
In times of crises, whether it’s the response to pandemics like COVID-19, concerns over the ‘climate crisis,’ or any pressing issue of the day, it’s crucial to vigilantly guard against unjustified governmental overreach. As Lysander Spooner noted, ‘The right and the physical power of the people to resist injustice, are really the only securities that any people ever can have for their liberties.’ It serves as a reminder that in every era, under every guise, it is the duty of the people to ensure that the response to emergencies does not trample upon the very rights and freedoms we aim to preserve. #SpoonerWisdom @TenthAmendment
Spooner defines ‘the judicial power of the U.S.’ and warns against Congress overstepping its bounds. He urges the people to stand firm, asserting that challenging overreach is not treachery, but virtuous and just. #LysanderSpooner#ConstitutionalRights@TenthAmendment
This is a disingenuous pivot to reshape an important conversation through distraction. Gadsden flag is part of a rich history where doing what is right to overcome authoritarians led to more freedom and opportunity for everyone. School districts are made of real people and regardless of their political ideologies can oppose wokeness and virtue signaling in favor of actual learning that helps their kids grow. It’s not the same thing as banning a part of history from school (or ostracizing a young man for believing in and hoping for the reemergence of the value system that built America).
I oppose banning the Gadsden flag in schools for the same reason I oppose conservative schools districts that ban LGBTQ flags in schools. Let kids be their authentic selves and give them a world of information—students can figure out what’s important to them.
@GovMurphy Better story — Ft McHenry and fledgling republic.

What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?…”
Anyone know what’s happening in the economy? FED funds rate increasing, tanks to Ukraine, debt ceiling / reloading ink for printing press, PM spot climbing… what are you doing as the death of the dollar watch party continues? @NJMisesCaucus@LPMisesCaucus#GOLD vs #Crypto
