Today @KamilaRCGP handed in a letter to @wesstreeting signed by almost 10,000 GPs asking @DHSCgovuk to urgently review the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan.

@mstotty88@timricketts_ For most in salaried roles every session is DCC. Not personally aware of anyone with a salaried job plan where there are separate admin sessions.
@Azeem_Majeed Resource not just for additional work, but for existing demand. In current model additional capacity in primary care will be swallowed up unless truly protected.
@DrLKVaughan HIS lists are run by v. motivated staff, where all barriers to throughout removed. (Portering staff, recovery beds etc). Easier to crack through volume of cases but likely to work for “simpler” cases. Principles to translate to complex case mix with planning and accountability.
General practice has been ignored for too long, and our patients are paying the price.
