Happy 126th birthday to Kaj Linderstrøm-Lang. Lang was the director of the Carlsberg Lab (after J Kjeldahl of the Kjeldahl method and SPL Sørensen of pH fame). Lang invented HDX, introduced the concept of 1’, 2’ & 3’ structure in proteins and in 1924 applied DH theory to proteins
