A scientific consultant in measurement technology for the space industry - yes I'm a rocket scientist! & Visiting Prof Coventry Uni; @Archerygb & #F1 fan
Dear @OctopusEnergy WHY HAVE YOU ABANDONED LOYAL CUSTOMERS AND STOPPED ANSWERING EMAILS TO HELLO@OCTOPUS?
I have searched your website and it’s now impossible to find a way of contacting a human .. it used to be so good talking to real people. Please tell me how to contact you
@21stCenturySETI @PhysicsWorld Not so much yet but Roger Walker leads ESA cubesats and he has webpage here https://t.co/OIIkl52wX4. So lots of mission in preparation but none have the astronomical vision of SURO. More about solar system science
@21stCenturySETI @PhysicsWorld Well you could do the science bit and I could do the space engineering…. Just a thought. I am not a professional journalist but happy to help you.
@21stCenturySETI @PhysicsWorld Tell me about it it’s mired in politics. Big bucks missions mean lots of countries get funding So more people vote for it. Whereas funding should be on basis of maximum science return/ £ spent. There is a whole new world of low cost science coming. Good idea for a story?
@21stCenturySETI @PhysicsWorld Keith good points. But SURO is a large distributed aperture space telescope with a wide range of science goals..you don’t need big bucks with todays small sat tech. And the design can be adapted to shorter wavelengths. If you want to do a piece on small sat science glad to advise
@21stCenturySETI @PhysicsWorld Great article. But it is such a shame that so much focus is placed on multi-billion pound telescopes when there is a proposal to ESAs for a ground breaking space observatory that is less than €200m called SURO-LC Space Based Ultra long wave radio telescope based on cubesats
Around 9 billion years ago, a galaxy collided with the #MilkyWay, which it is believed to be the origin of the Milky Way’s two discs. Learn more about our galaxy's violent past, present but also future from our latest #ESOblog

I wonder how Elon Musk plans to make@twitter the “most accurate@ source of truth in the world”? Have seen no plans for how this can be done. Who will define what accurate truth is? Perhaps he will ask a scientist who would use objective research on every tweet to check it? 😂
@GraemeTR And just think a china long march booster is about to de orbit spreading debris over the US population centres. So their rocket science is not up to the standard of space-x
@BarristersHorse Yes my comment is predicated on if trump or anyone for that matter is properly and fairly convicted of a crime. So let’s wait and see.
