@sezrab @erikjhortiz My report was in the ME case file, which was made available to FDLE. I was not asked to write a report by FDLE. I was asked to provide a neurochemical pathology consult on this case by the ME Department, as I had done for many other cases of suspected drug-related ExDS.

@sezrab @erikjhortiz Read my rebuttal that was published in the journal in the response to this report. I regret that we don't have more research, but few scientists work with the human brain and even fewer have access to ExDS cases. More evidence based science is necessary.

@sezrab @erikjhortiz Taser never paid for any of our research studies. My disclosed compensation was for expert testimony on ExDS unrelated to Israel Hernandez. Our published work, on cocaine, agitation and CNS-related sudden death in the early 1990's, was before Tasers were deployed in Miami.

@sezrab @erikjhortiz I have no knowledge about nor did not provide a quote on this unfortunate death. I also never gave a cause of death for Israel Hernandez; that is only done by a Medical Examiner. We need to educate ourselves, the police and the public about ExDS in order to save lives.
