The problem I have with studies reporting health effects of UPF can be seen in this paper by Rauber et al. https://t.co/MebTpPHcY7 is lack of objectivity in defining which foods are actually UPF! Here are 2 food labels of ingredients, one in this study is UPF & other is not!🤷

NEWS 🚨| An @Leic_hospital dietitian and researcher at the #NIHRBRCLeicester has helped shape the latest edition of one of the UK’s leading dietetics textbooks, published during the @BDA_Dietitians #DietitiansWeek #DW2026 celebrations.

@drduanerd is one of the editors of the newly published seventh edition of the Manual of Dietetic Practice and has also authored three chapters in the new edition.

Dr Mellor said: “It has been a privilege to contribute to a publication that has supported generations of dietitians in both education and clinical practice.
