Champ Bailey and Darrelle Revis set the standard for what elite cornerback play looks like. Many would argue Bailey’s 2006 season and Revis’ 2009 campaign are the two greatest pure cornerback performances of this century.
Both were at the peak of their powers, erasing the league’s best receivers and changing how offenses had to play the game. Some would say, they “walked on water” But if you had to choose one, who gets the nod?
Champ Bailey makes his case.

@Will_Rucker3_AD I’ve watched how boots fight and I just feel he’s too irresponsible for bud. I don’t think bud is unbeatable. I’ve watched boots and I just think the shots he takes and gets caught with he’s gettin slept against bud and I’ll put bread on him being stopped.
@brooks_lco I mean I can see why you would say that but we’ve seen McCain do it at this level whether it’s shooting or just getting a bucket. When seeing Labaron he has the tools to be better than McCain but I was just curious as to how ppl were like yea he’s definitely better.
@brooks_lco@Will_Rucker3_AD Country mile sounds wild but we’ll see. I think he’s tough from the highlights but saying he’s just clear cut better seems like supreme confidence. They both clearly have different skillsets with his handling clearly beating out McCain. Both 3 level scorers too.
Complications with recovery of his surgically repaired knee kept him sidelined for all but 66 minutes of his sophomore campaign at Kentucky🔵
Despite the injury Red Flags 🚩 Jayden Quaintance is still a sure fire lottery talent in the 2026 NBA Draft

@Will_Rucker3_AD talk to me about Jayden Quaintance? Injury wise is he cool or is that something someone who’s looking to draft him should be a bit worried about?
@AidanLaPorta69 I feel like simplifying his offensive game. If he’s looking to score getting right to it and being efficient with his movements whether it’s getting down hill or just shooting. The passing and playmaking I also agree with. Idk if he’s ever going to be that kind of play maker tho
Mike Tirico letting everybody know that Jared McCain played for the Sixers every chance he gets is sending me lol it’s so unnecessary, yet hilarious every time he says something about it
Another Jared McCain 20+ point game in the Western Conference Finals. He is 22 years old. The Sixers weren’t even able to get their own first in 2026 back for him in trade but instead a later Rockets 1st.
