Most people are so broke that they don't know how much KSH 1 BILLION is.
Do you people know what KSH 1 BILLION is?
With 1 BILLION:
You spend 100,000 DAILY for 27 YEARS and FIVE MONTHS.
Why, then, do you accept it as normal when politicians steal 600 billion?
On 18 May 2026, Kenyan police shot dead 20 people for protesting against the fuel price hike. Here are their names:

Pictures of that Nanyuki protests gunshot victim really did me in. That was a straight headshot meaning the intention was to kill. For how long is President Ruto going to kill non-violent Kenyans on the streets???
Kenyan police have fired tear gas and used water cannon on Nanyuki protesters for a second week over a US-only Ebola quarantine facility at a nearby military base. Rights groups report at least one person killed as construction continues.
Al Jazeera’s Malcolm Webb reports.
Killed for fighting for his country's constitution and the rule of law.
Killed for fighting for the sovereignty of his country.
Killed for exercising his constitutional rights.
He was only asking to be heard.
Colonialism never ended!
This is what Solomonic wisdom and true leadership looks like: "The Ministry of Education has the greatest responsibility to address the unrest in schools." - Emeritus Chief Justice @dkmaraga
He was not carrying a weapon in Nanyuki.
He was carrying a belief that his country's Constitution mattered. That the rule of law mattered. That sovereignty mattered. That citizens have a right to speak, question and be heard.
For that, he paid the ultimate price.
The tragedy is not only that a life was lost. The tragedy is that a citizen seeking justice, accountability and dignity became a target. When people are killed for demanding that their rights be respected, we must ask ourselves whether freedom truly belongs to the people.
This comrade became another reminder that the struggle for self-determination, justice and human dignity is far from over.

Rigathi Gachagua was unjustly impeached. An injustice can not stop him from vying for public office including vying for presidency. His rights must be respected 100%. BUT, just remember, Gachagua is NOT an option. David Maraga, Edwin Sifuna, Okiya Omtatah are options. Nimeenda.⚖️
The post-mortem results confirm that Kelvin died from a severe brain injury, including a fractured skull and internal bleeding, while in police custody.
His family, alongside VOCAL Africa, has faced countless hurdles and frustrations just to get these results. We refuse to let Kelvin become another statistic.
We are calling IPOA and all relevant government authorities to conduct a thorough investigation and hold those responsible accountable.
Information coming in is that one person has been shot dead in Nanyuki following today’s protests to reject plans to set up an Ebola quarantine centre for US nationals in the area.
@VOCALAfrica_ is working with IPOA and local human rights organizations to establish the identity of the deceased and contact his family.
This one I don't understand.
Picture 1 : As he was being arrested during Nanyuki maandamano.
Picture 2 : Him lying lifeless in a pool of blood.
What happened to him?
You’re destroying natural forests.
You’re importing a deadly disease.
You’re overtaxing citizens.
You’re overspending public funds.
Kids are dying every other day.
You crackdown on lawful protests.
Police are abducting and disappearing dissidents.
Bwana Ruto. Don’t you think it’s time you also chant #RutoMustGo.
Don’t you think you’ve done enough harm? Leave us something to salvage. Don’t destroy even the crumbs.
You people think someone wakes up and pays millions to buy useless data with no personal information? Data has value because it can tell them who you are, where you are, what you do, what you buy, what you fear, what you like and how to target you. Hiyo story ya “it will be anonymized” is just perfume on theft.
