I'm sorting out recommendation sites before blocking them for most of the day for myself. And I noticed I read or plan to read lots of manga that take place on the island. I guess they do sound relaxing and comfy. ^-^
I'll also post this here. Love these surreal satirical villains in cartoons and elsewhere. "A brain in a vat" and others. A chair lasering his name on the moon.
("Evil con carne" and "The Tick").

Oh and of course Brain from +
Clint Eastwood's "Unforgiven" (1992) also sounds interesting, deconstructing westerns and their type of masculine hero. I like the redemption arc and the introspective take on masculine protagonist. It's really interesting in late Eastwood movies.

I again got into the Letterboxd trap. ^^" Adding some classic and intriguing horrors like Carrie, Misery and others. I like King for the psychology and exploring the fascinating dark side of religion.
cable tv for that. I wasn't really watching tv all the time, I actually went outside too. ^^ This makes me want to get tv again sometime in the future. Cartoon Network in that period was nice too, but it took a while before it started broadcasting in Polish.
This makes me appreciate tv. Back in the 90s and 00s, when the internet wasn't so developed and without recommendation apps, I just watched tv, watched everything that was airing. Thanks to that I've seen much nice stuff I wouldn't normally see. You gotta appreciate +
Starobinski also reminded me of "Marat/Sade". I need to rewatch it. :D It's a fascinating play-based musical film about French revolution, as directed by mister de Sade in an insane asylum.
