If you don’t have a horse in this race (like me) you’d see that the Spurs are getting hammered with no calls while ticky tack calls are going OKCs way.
This Champion will make the NBA organization that drafts him better immediately…what team doesn’t need/want: Production. Winner. Worker. Highest Character. Versatile. Super Intelligent. Competitive.
@AaronQuinn716@TheBillsGuys Being a UCONN alum and having gone to several games this year, dudes an animal and a football player. Tough as they come, and a great person too. He will work hard and be a starter at some point for this team. Diamond.
@HDraudt @McMarz1113@AlexMiley17 Half-a-brain people actually read what is written. If you go back, I said Bishops success was directly tied to Poyer leading to his development. I never said Poyer played well. But he taught well. Your opinion means nothing to me and I could care less what you think of my take.
Don’t worry #BillsMafia Beane always kills it in the 2nd round! 🙄
Under Beane we’ve selected:
Cody Ford
AJ Epenesa
Boogie Basham
James Cook
O’Cyrus Torrence
Cole Bishop
Keon Coleman
TJ Sanders
Outside of Cook, maybe Bishop and Torrence (meh)… that’s a lot of 🤮
@joebradysdih 1 game makes a super star? I agree he’s not meh but he needs to prove himself more than one decent year. He had moments & I believe he could blossom this year in a better scheme. But I’m not anointing him because he had a couple good games… BTW, I do like him as a player.
@AlexMiley17@GoSBU93 Bishop has 1/2 a year of being a good starter. And personally? I think All Pro Po had a lot to do with that.
I wouldn’t say he’s a mid level starter, but I also wouldn’t say it’s a hit. He has a chance to be great. But he’s not yet.
@GclBen I loved the Ford pick too. Was disappointed when it didn’t work out. I’m not a GM or a scout so I can imagine how hard that is to nail a pick.
But they get paid the big bucks and I get to sit in my arm chair acting like one. 🤣
@RudellRT For a team consistently in the Super Bowl window because of Josh Allen, to me, one impact player means way more than 5 rotational/depth players.
That’s how feel this draft went. We aren’t taking 5 starters in the 4-7th rounds in a weak draft. That’s all I’m getting at.
@RudellRT I don’t disagree- kinda. There are teams who nail picks in every round. We got Benford in the 5th for example.
The moves we made this year don’t help us get to the players who make a difference. And track records speak for themselves on Buffalos drafts. Overall IMO not good.
Jets crushing this draft.
Pats trade up with a division opponent to take who they wanted, for peanuts in return.
Miami get two first rounders and trade up for a guy they wanted.
Buffalo has their thumbs up their asses again.
@mistahsingh What I do care about if you care to engage is having conversations with someone whose opinion differs from mine and we can both see where the other is coming from without saying they’re wrong.
Healthy convo is welcome.
@mistahsingh I could care less if you respond. This is my opinion which I don’t believe is disingenuous. My day won’t be ruined by someone I don’t know trying to tell me I’m wrong based on what you believe to be true.
I never said Beane drafted him. Hes an example of the starters in the NFL
@McMarz1113@AlexMiley17 Agreed- Not hating on him. He and Cook are the 2 hits. Bishop might be. I believe Poyer (who’s not there anymore) played a huge role in his success last year.
25% success rate however doesn’t make anyone excited, especially for a team with Super Bowl aspirations.
@mistahsingh Nathan Peterman was a starter in this league too. So does starting mean you’re good?
Cook is the best RB in the league IMO now. Torrence- agree. Bishop played well in the 2nd half of last year. The jury is still out there.
Just because the rest are ‘still in the NFL’ means 💩
@AlexMiley17 Ford, gone, never played up to potential.
Epenesa and Basham- gone. Rotational players. Not starters.
Coleman is THIS close to being a bust. Bishop played well last year. Was it because of Poyer because he was not good before him.
Jury’s out on Sanders.
2 right out of 8 = 25%
@vjakma I’m sorry I didn’t realize your opinion was the end all be all of opinions. Allow me to retract my previous statement… not. I feel like your take is bad. We will have to agree to disagree. That’s the beauty of opinions… they’re your own.
Enjoy your Friday. Go Bills.
@joshuadmcswain I think we need an upgrade at LB. Allen or Rodriguez would be great as they’re just nasty and make plays.
I wouldn’t hate another WR. I think Chubb stays healthy with a fresh start like Bosa last year.
Regardless the moves back, given Beane’s draft history is less than ideal.
