@MilitantVol69@SharpSquare13@TheChadWithrow He fumbled at his own two yard line and threw a pick six. So yeah, he was a pretty big part of the reason why Tennessee scored 35 points.
@HemingerJacob@Ryan4b5b It is opponent adjusted efficiency - it measures a team’s efficiency based on the quality of the opponent. So it is designed to account for differences in SOS. And no, Michigan’s running game has not been more consistent - your RBs averaged 2 yards per carry against Oklahoma.
@AbelGe87 You think no other West team was willing to offer a few second rounders? OKC was never trading either of these guys to another West playoff team. Plenty to criticize Stone about, but this isn’t one of them.
@dallassportzone@spacecityno2x FVV has a one year player option left on his contract. The Rockets unfortunately would never trade FVV, but there is no bad contract for Dallas to eat.
@itsAntWright Watch the video board in the upper right corner. The contact to the chest isn’t where the foul occurred, it’s the contact below the waist where he clips Stirtz’s legs.
@ReadyGlen@walkeri141@itsAntWright There is nothing more than marginal contact being made on this “screen.” So you are correct, it is not an illegal screen, because he does not dislodge the defender or impede his movement in any way.
@RooshWilliams@Awetz19 Jalen was the pnr guard. He averaged twice as many pnr possessions per game as Fred and was better and more efficient in doing so. If the offense was going to be reliant on Fred Vanvleet pick and rolls it never had a chance to begin with.
@Krtlsali @freshstart287@1legflamingo Rockets fans didn’t care that Jalen Green played through an injury most of last season, why would they care that Sengun is?
@finsrocket@RedNinetyFour Sengun isn’t very good in the PnR. He sets poor screens, isn’t very good as a roll man, and isn’t a vertical threat or a threat to pop out and shoot from the perimeter. Sengun and Reed don’t mesh well offensively, and the fit is even worse defensively.
@canplayson @HEBenjoyer@RooshWilliams Alpi only scored 4 points when JJJ was his primary defender and the Rockets were below 1 PPP on those possessions. He scored nearly all of his points on Santi Aldama and GG Jackson. The Rockets shouldn’t trade Sengun but it is objectively untrue to say that he destroyed JJJ.
@RooshWilliams The roster has zero perimeter creation, and no one except KD can consistently generate shots off the dribble. It was obvious that was going to be a problem the minute the Rockets made the KD trade.
@RooshWilliams @5OUTISO They are actually allowing marginally more wide open 3s (20.5) over the last four games than their average over the entire season (20.4). Opponents are just making them at a much lower rate (31% L4 vs 38% season long), suggesting it is likely just variance.
@JTGatlin Imagine how much better the Rockets would be with a dynamic guard / secondary playmaker who can attack the rim, shoot threes, and create offense from the perimeter, while also being a plus defender and playing hard every night. If only we knew where to find a player like that…
