Cane Mehling gets back-to-back strikeouts to put the finishing touches on a huge win for the Screaming Eagles.

Mehling scatters eight hits and allows a run while striking out 11.

Drew Potter went yard and drove in all three runs.

That is the Crusaders' first loss in-state against a scholastic baseball program.

Ashley quickly turned the page from a Friday night conference loss with a marquee victory to close out the first day of the Wilmington Baseball Classic.

The No. 10 ranked Screaming Eagles picked up big performances from Drew Potter and Cane Mehling to defeat Grace Christian 3-1.
