An infant died this week in Wisconsin from measles. Babies aren’t vaccinated for measles until 12-15 months. A newborn gets passive immunity from their mother (assuming mom has been vaccinated). If the mother is unvaccinated and there’s measles circulating in the community, a baby can become infected and die from the disease. As more virus circulates we’ll see more children die. This doesn’t have to happen.
Along with Steve Bannon, the reason I started, in 2015, using the hashtag, #NazisInTheWhiteHouse, was Stephen Miller.
Now he is the White House Chief of Staff.
I spent two years working with Stephen Miller.
His appointment as White House chief of staff is among the most dangerous personnel decisions in the history of our republic.
I say that without reservation.
🚨NEWS: Top Dems are heading to a conference with a shadowy billionaire front group @MajorityDems - and the group is now barring access to @LeverNews reporters as punishment for our investigative series exposing the group's funders.

We're reporting only a fraction of measles cases in the US; some estimates put it as low as 20% in states like PA. This outbreak is much larger than what's reported and is spilling into highly vulnerable communities like babies and pregnant women. We will lose our Measles elimination status this month, and it will take years of responsible public health management to get it back.

NEW: House Dems "inundated" w/ calls & emails urging them not to elect Jeffries speaker
One member told @axios they got "300-400" calls in 2 days
Another said "over 500"
A third said "higher" than 500: "It's our No. 1 issue, and it's not close." https://t.co/eKtNKwFi0f
Reality check: Pretty much every member I've talked to says Jeffries will get the gavel.
Rep. Himes: "Jeffries absolutely will be speaker."
"Anybody talking about a challenger is just selling tickets to a circus with no tent," Rep. Liccardo told @axios https://t.co/eKtNKwFi0f
@mattgrossmann@mattyglesias I was inside the Staples Center in 2000 listening to Al Gore accept the nomination and preach about “the people vs. the powerful.”
(I was also outside the Staples Center protesting the corporatism and militarism of the Democratic Party.)
