The Reverb ETF $RVRB is fascinating. The fund’s holdings are weighted based on signals received from a mobile app in which users rate companies. Can such a strategy outperform the market and how exactly do these signals translate into actionable insights that the ETF can use?

@Kayky_ajax@pappy_neal@unusual_whales@rev_vote Big change in sentiment for Paypal, a company I'd imagine most people would be agnostic on. I wonder if it was related to their recent PR disaster surrounding their new terms and conditions targeting free speech. https://t.co/VviJ0cd03n

@ChrisWPhoto@jake_gotta@garrytan Just to clarify, I'm not a developer, but there are plenty of firms trying to make more things like this happen in Seattle. https://t.co/ML0zGyoM7D is one of them, I believe...
@ChrisWPhoto@jake_gotta@garrytan Absolutely. However, I know of a similar project not too far away also in Seattle that is meeting resistance due to NIMBY, etc, so I'm not sure funding is the issue, although construction costs these days are tough.
Over 200,000 ratings submitted on Reverberate... thanks to everyone for letting us know how major corporations are affecting your lives. #directdemocracy
When we see an average rating that is high or going higher, we buy shares. When we see an average rating that is low or going lower, we sell shares. If our fund becomes large enough, it will create a powerful economic incentive for managers of major corporations to care more.
When you voice your opinion on corporations on the @ReverberateApp, that impacts the investment those companies receive. Lower ratings = lower investment. Higher ratings = higher investment. It's that simple. Your voice matters. #directdemocracy#vinylchloride#norfolksouthern
