We are shocked and saddened to learn of the unexpected passing of our friend and colleague, Professor Hartmut Derendorf of @UF. Hartmut was a pioneer in our field as well as an accomplished teacher, and the 2013 recipient of our Leadership Award. He will be sorely missed.

Get this. If cases increase at 25% a day, it doubles every 3 days. A 30 day month sees 10 doubles or a 1,000x increase.

15% a day increase sees doubling every 5 days. A 30 day month sees 6 doubles or a 64x increase; 1/16th of the 25% case.

SA Health is trying to contact around 40 people they've not been able to reach, who were on Virgin flight VA428 which departed Sydney on Thursday March 19th. They may have come into contact with infected cruise ship passengers.
