@Rapuruchi4@Destofluke How can you post such a video without blurring the victim's face?!! A rape victim, just like a minor, should not have their face plastered on social media or any medium for that matter! Please, review and revert.
And this, @realkenokonkwo, is your great smoking gun? I used to think you were intelligent but now I see you're just a cheap rascal dressed up in the false garb of intellect.
You'll have your day in court!
Here is the complete letter from Obunike Ohaegbu:
My brother,
The entire NDC project, at least from my personal experience, has left me feeling deceived and profoundly disappointed.
When I joined the party, I visited the National Secretariat and met with the National Secretary. During our discussions, I was informed that the policy of the party was that once I purchased the nomination forms and paid the sum of N10 million, the ticket for my Federal Constituency would effectively be secured. Acting on that representation, I paid the N10 million and clearly stated in the payment narration that it was for the Nnewi North/Nnewi South/Ekwusigo Federal Constituency ticket.
At the time, the party was consistently promoting consensus arrangements and assuring aspirants that primaries would largely be unnecessary. Based on those assurances, I understood that the payment was connected to securing the ticket through that process.
To my shock, the party subsequently began demanding N10 million from House of Representatives aspirants and N20 million from Senate aspirants, separate from the cost of nomination forms. Thereafter, aspirants were directed to proceed to primaries wherever consensus allegedly failed.
While other states, particularly Kano and several states in the North, appeared to be engaged in negotiations and consultations aimed at achieving consensus, neither I nor, to the best of my knowledge, any aspirant from Anambra State was invited to any meeting for the purpose of negotiating or agreeing a consensus arrangement.
Consequently, I mobilised my supporters and participated fully in the primary election process in the belief that the outcome would determine the party's candidates.
This naturally raises a fundamental question. If no consensus meeting was held with the aspirants in Anambra State, and no agreement was reached amongst those seeking nomination, my brother Ken, how did your friend arrive at the list of candidates that he allegedly produced at Johnwood Hotel in Abuja?
Consensus, by its very nature, requires consultation, negotiation and agreement amongst stakeholders. Where there is no consultation, no negotiation and no agreement, there can be no consensus.
If aspirants were directed to participate in primaries while candidate lists were allegedly being prepared elsewhere, then serious questions arise about the integrity of the entire process. If that is not fraud, then the word fraud must have another meaning.
While many of us were on the ground participating in the primaries, allegations emerged that lists of candidates had already been prepared at Johnwood Hotel in Abuja. The situation became even more troubling when the party, in its press statement of 5 June 2026 signed by the National Secretary, distanced itself from the controversial list while simultaneously acknowledging circumstances that effectively rendered the outcome of our primaries meaningless.
The list reportedly included individuals who did not emerge from the primary process. Indeed, even Senator Victor Umeh, who reportedly lost his contest, appeared on the list. Yet, as of today, 7 June 2026, the party has still not published the official results of the primaries.
Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of the entire process is the party's claim that the appeal process has already been concluded and recommendations made, even though the official results of the primaries have not been released to aspirants or the public.
As a lawyer, I find it difficult to understand how an appeal process can validly take place when there are no officially published results against which an aggrieved aspirant can formulate grounds of appeal. An appeal presupposes the existence of a decision that has been communicated to affected parties and which can then be challenged through an established procedure ...

Nigeria shouldn't happen to you.
First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu reportedly distributed luxury vehicles to APC women leaders as part of activities linked to the Renewed Hope Agenda and support for the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The development has drawn criticism from some Nigerians, who argue that it comes at a time when many citizens are protesting over insecurity and kidnappings across the country.

Sellouts!
I just completed my PVC registration at the INEC office in Lagos (onike). I came in around 2:50 ish, it was JUST ME in the whole hall! It took me less than 5mins to register. Donβt say enough is enough without your PVC. They even close by 3pm because of the low level of turnout.
The company that built the Bus Terminal in Oshodi is the same company that built the one in Umahia.
The one in Umahia is way bigger than the one in Oshodi but if you check the budget, even with inflation, you'll cry for Lagos.

Abia State Governor received applause for renaming a public bus terminal after Nnenna Oti, the INEC Returning Officer who declared him winner of the 2023 Abia governorship election.
So, can President Tinubu also rename the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport after the INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, who declared him winner?
Open Apology Letter to the Obidient Movement
My Dear Obidient Family, I come before you today with a heavy heart, deep humility, and no excuses. Some time ago, in a moment of frustration and immaturity, I wrote and released a resignation letter as Director of Mobilization. In that letter, I allowed deep frustration & personal emotions to cloud my judgment. I made statements that subtly and unnecessarily dragged Peter Obi, a man I still respect for his vision, integrity, and sacrifice for this nation. That was wrong. It was childish, and beneath the standard I should have upheld, especially as someone who once held a leadership position in this movement.
I take full responsibility. No one forced me to write it. No one edited it. It came from me, and it was a mistake. I deleted the letter afterwards, but I know deletion does not erase the damage, the disappointment, or the loss of trust many of you felt. I understand why some of you no longer respect me the way you once did. You had every right to feel let down.
To Peter Obi himself (fondly called PO): Sir, I am sincerely sorry. My words were not a true reflection of the values of sacrifice, accountability, and constructive criticism that you preach. I failed in that moment. To every single Obidient, the ones who stayed grinding, the ones who defended the vision even when it was tough, the ones who felt betrayed by my actions, I am deeply sorry. You are the real heroes of this movement. Many of you are young people full of hope and fire for a better Nigeria. You didnβt deserve to see internal cracks turned into public drama. I let you down.
I am not writing this because I want something or a position in the movement as Iβm enjoying private life. I am writing it because it is the right thing to do. Leadership is not only about when the road is sweet and smooth; it is also about owning up when you mess up. I own this fully. I am committed to rebuilding trust through consistent actions, not just words. But I also know trust is not demanded, it is earned back slowly, if at all. Thank you for reading this.
Whether you accept my apology or not, I respect your feelings and your right to hold me accountable. The love I have for a better Nigeria has not changed. You all know me. My respect for the Obidient spirit remains. I am sorry truly.
With humility and hope for forgiveness,
Your brother in this struggle,
Morris Monye.

I know some people will not be happy hearing this obvious fact, but the reality remains that there is no meaningful NDC presence in the North. Even with all the social media predictions and online noise, nobody can confidently point to a single Northern state and claim that the NDC has the upper hand there. The same situation applies in the South West as well.
