MBChB is widely regarded as an 'ethics' course and that's not entirely true. At the UoN med school, community health is taught in level 2, 5, and 6 and covers HMIS, Health Economics, Biostatistics, Primary Healthcare Management, Policy development etc

@drharryelisha then tell me, what managerial training is taught in MBChB that is not taught in BSc Clinical Medicine? Name the unit, the content, anything.
You can’t just assume an MO automatically has better management skills because of the title. If you have facts, bring them.

@short_wire17 @Genesismwanzo1 I agree. Admission of students into clinical medicine should be halted. A system can be established to upgrade those with the degree into an internationally recognized medical science course.

@Genesismwanzo1 Very possible. I'm for more employment of COs actually, but under supervision by an MO. I don't believe that COs have enough managerial skills to lead level 3 hospital upwards. One can't oversee functions that they're not formally authorised to execute.
