@PapersPlease14@Con_Tomlinson It’s not entrenched everywhere, especially where I am in Texas. There are a couple of hold outs but people don’t deal with it anymore.
@PapersPlease14@Con_Tomlinson I taught Gen Z as they were first graduating HS they already knew the system was broken before they left high school. Millennials learned after college.
@notjame5@TheNerdWASuit Because Anakin had precognitive abilities with the force not all Jedi did. Obi Wan was a defensive master that is why their fight was so close. Anakin and Dooku were showing off to each other. Plus Lee was a master fencer.
@PapersPlease14@Con_Tomlinson First off the great gender reorienting of society?!? That’s already on the way out. Second, my experience in relation to the story!?! No I worked but butt off based on what my boomer parents told me I needed to do and it was all a lie. Gen Z grew up know it was a lie.
@notjame5@TheNerdWASuit Children?!? Ballet dancing?!? You mean super human speed and skill against two brothers who know exactly how the other fights and a slow slug fest between a cyborg absentee dad and the son with anger and daddy issues?
@theCTwelve I quote Jar-Jar at least once a week. I love TPM I was 11 when it came out. Even though I enjoy the OT I’ve scene the PT many more times, I also prefer the musical score for the PT.
@RealJohnShoe@heroesahead Because we (the teenagers and kids at the times) actually like the movies. They are the same canon event the OT was for late boomers and early Gen X.
@PapersPlease14@Con_Tomlinson What did they experience that we didn’t? As a millennial your post becomes worse, you who should feel like Anakin! We were made promises before the world went to crap then watched it fall. By the time they were 12-13 it had already fallen, they are the younglings in the temple.
@europemaxxed France needs the next Napoleon to rise and reclaim it. Spain needs the next El Cid. Scotland needs the next Robert the Bruce, Germany needs the next Bismarck, Ireland needs the next Brian Boru and Wolf the Quarrelsome, England needs Alfred the great, Austria needs …..
@crusade_enjoyer They aren’t French, they are invaders that tricked and frauded a country that was too worried about being nice and one where the government betrayed its people.
@PapersPlease14@Con_Tomlinson Gen Z is delusional. When did you see the prequels? In theaters or at home? Because Gen Z needs to stop acting like they experienced more than what the Millennials did.
@JCKnight03@Con_Tomlinson Gen Z rarely have boomer parents. We, the millennials, do mostly and they lied to us over and over again. Now they belittle us because we still can’t afford a house at almost 40 they bought a house with a minimum wage job in the 80s why can’t we, we must have bad spending habits.
@Isaac556x45 Gen Z men never experienced this the way Millennial men did. I finished HS in ‘06 went to college so I could get the good job for there to be none when I graduated in ‘10. In Dec 2010 when I graduated the oldest Gen Z was about to turn 14 and this had already happened to society.
@GalacticWaffen@rawdogmillionar Did some more thinking on this. Where online?!? MySpace had just come out in 2005 what millennial is trashing Star Wars there, Facebook still required a college email address, what 4chan? Or some other random website? Dude that was not millennials.
@Joe_Defiant@Con_Tomlinson I was born in 88 i grew up on the original vhs releases and then I saw the special editions in theaters in 97. I love the prequels, we went and saw them as a family opening weekend for every movie.
@GalacticWaffen@rawdogmillionar No we didn’t! You must Millennials confused with Gen X. Gen Z isn’t even old enough to have enjoyed the movies in theaters.
