@its_lady_c @ThePosieParker @firstdirect I left Barclays’ a few years ago because of exactly this bollocks. Was trying to pay for our Labrador pup, but they decided it was a scam and wouldn’t let me withdraw £2k, despite hours trying to convince their anti-fraud team to let me access my own money. Haven’t looked back.

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@ppm_mk @hjwakerley Thanks, that’s interesting to know: I’ve purchased a few cars from Japan over past few years but none since late 2025 and even then it was dockside for 2 months before getting on a boat. I don’t buy in bulk just one at a time and then use it rather than flip for profit.

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@Timoldland Cars were better in’t olden days I tell thee.

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@joncoupland Wheels too big. I’m out.

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@SteveFowler In isolation it’s not terrible. But it’s not a Jaguar and they’ve already said FU to their heritage and customer base to court a new demographic. I want Jaguar to succeed but also resent them for binning everything they had prior to ‘that’ advert.

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@SuellaBraverman ‘One word to rule them all’. First line of the leftist’s playbook.

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@myswearyaccount @GBPolitcs So glad she’s pointed this out. It’s an exhausting battle trying to stop my labs doing far right things like enjoying family walks in the countryside

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@LUDENClassics Italian Four Door barge

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@biggeorgewrig Suspect so, yes.

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@sniffpetrol I feel like you should get a steering lock, lest it star in an episode of Police, Camera, Action or whatever that sternly narrated Alastair Stewart thing from the ‘90s was called.

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@JohnCleese You’d have been fine had you just requested a Waldorf salad five minutes after chef had knocked off.

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@JohnCleese The BBC has long since been captured and is about as useful a source of unbiased journalistic rigour as that chap Saddam Hussein had in charge of his propaganda and PR comms.

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@tom550993 @JamesBlunt Weller does appear, on the evidence presented, to be a bit of a cnut.

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@_baldtires It’s like AI was asked to design a ‘futuristic interior’ but the only other car AI has seen is a Rover SD1.

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@tom550993 Our survey said:

NO

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@thealexbear Makes me yearn for a billy basic 964 with those flat face wheels and flag wing mirrors

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@hjwakerley @singervehicles I liked them at the start, but they’ve become a bit vulgar and OTT. They’re somewhat tech bro / hedge fundy these days.

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@motoringguruUK Probably just my OCD playing tricks, but seems like the number plate on the silver Daytona is ever so slightly on the piss.

[Tim Kendall @DrivingTalk]

@ListerLawrence I had a 3.0 petrol supercharged one in the same shape and it was a belter. Brilliant cars.
