Things Sir J Ives is good at... Correct application of the letter n, corners, screens, the colour black.
Things Sir J Ives is less good at... Automotive Exterior Design.
@kelvmackenzie I drove Porsche's 997 GT3 in Italy once. I marvelled at the fact its NA engine happily ran at 1,800rpm in 3rd gear. With just the lightest touch of the throttle it had no trouble meeting local 50kmh/30mph speed limits. If I'd changed to 2nd, it would have done 20mph. Just saying.
@MichaelTakeMP Ahhh... I can feel Carol's warmth. Like an old portable gas heater, she reminds me of the past. The comfort of burnt butane, and the smell of metal cutting torches. Those halycion days will surely return!
@JennyGi79601132 @BBC I sometimes see this guy bouncing off the train with his guide dog. Unsure if that has anything to do with it, but he sometimes beats me to the ticket gates.
@996FourEss@Bricktop_NAFO@JDVance@PeteHegseth Look, we all know this platform
Is full of shite, but those young people that died meant funerals hosted by parents, and a silent grief that touched the lives of many. Outside of the zeros and ones, I think we should remember that.
@996FourEss@Bricktop_NAFO@JDVance@PeteHegseth There aren't enough characters available to explain to why your fixation on using Suez as a counterpoint is weird, but I can tell you with great confidence that while the 996 was commercially significant, as a product it was "not great" and the 4S was the worst of them.
I wouldn't normally join the bandwagon, but rest in peace Ratan Tata. I only met him a few times, but remember his openness, authenticity and humbleness - despite him being one of India's most powerful men. An uncommon leader.
