Glyn Pits Cornish Beam Engine from 1845 sitting in a field near Pontypool. This rare, almost intact engine, the first of the industrial revolution , perfected by James Watt, deserves a better fate. #wales #industrislrevolution #waleshistory

@BaleGJ @HoldenStreet Good to hear. It's a real gem. Enjoyed the show so much. Took me back ! SA is very much an AFL state but physical ball sports have much in common and Grav's on and off field 'stories' are told in such a way that they have a very universal appeal - particularly in Aus

@BaleGJ @HoldenStreet Gareth. Great show! Have you been to the wineries in McLaren Vale yet. Also here a history of Welsh community at Wallaroo. Copper Smeltermen from Swansea.

Visiting Penderyn in April to talk about the life of Welsh Hero Lewis Lewis, leader of the 1831 Merthyr Uprising, and his fate in exile in the wild frontiers of NSW Australia.

@owenplaywright @BaleGJ Brilliant Grav at the Adelaide Fringe. Going down great in a place that knows nothing about rugby. Congratulations. A great advert for the spirit of Wales as well. So emotional for me as well. Those moments in Llanelli vs ABs I could see them while Gareth described them!
