In India, 75% of doctors have experienced violence. A recent survey by the IMA shows 82.7% of Indian doctors feel stressed out by the profession, while 62.8% fear violence. 

Doctors are saving lives, and risking their own should not be part of their profession.

I urge the govt to reconsider its stand and kindly introduce legislation that will protect doctors and other healthcare professionals in the workplace. The govt must also provide legal and financial aid to doctors who become victims of violence while performing their duties.
