@VibhaNarayanan @AcademicChatter @OpenAcademics For me, there were too many 'endings'. Finished draft, submission, defense, corrections(?), graduation. You never know when to actually celebrate by the end.
Try to celebrate each in their own way rather building up expectations for one huge celebratory moment.

Given it didn't pay off... Could explain poor performance.
