@ElonMuskAOC Elon because he's my favorite genius from my school and my country. But I would also pay double to watch a debate on AI at the table between Elon and Bill
@JJ_Stellies A few corrections needed. He wasn't bullied at PBHS, he was bullied at Bryanston High before coming to PBHS. He donated a $1 million but never said he wouldn't send any further donations - confirmed by Schroder previous headmaster.
Just watched Jacques Tati's "Playtime" (1967) - it felt more like an experience than a film - it could be about humans wondering through impersonal cities and sterile architecture ... all filmed in 70mm with incredible detail
3wise - a tool I built to check swear words in movies and TV series before you watch them with your family - is finally here after over 2 years of burning the midnight oil. https://t.co/minA1NTeqb Here is the promotional video: https://t.co/DOAYXKcwF9
Nice to see Forbes picking up on the contact tracing publication I did with Research ICT Africa; seems there were similar ideas around data rebates to install the App in Australia. @RIAnetwork@UCT_Research#contacttracing
I'm against censorship but Block/allow should be done by a media committee with equal representation from democrats and republicans with a salary penalty if you recommended blocked and it turns out to be true or allowed and it turns out to be fake. https://t.co/ghOsRhOJt7
Very important precedent set in ruling that compelled Facebook to take down erroneous and defamatory post by private individual. @RIAnetwork #content&jurisdiction https://t.co/sDpQZLzfTq
❗️Did you know that *study after study* finds most people don't seem to transmit COVID at all? That a small percent is responsible for almost all infections? That R is not that informative? My new piece on why this may be key to controlling the pandemic. https://t.co/59YgSSHdEZ
@stevesong@GSMA Coverage mapping should not be in the hands of operators who provide maps to GSMA and regulators who provide these to the ITU, its an obvious conflict of interest, this should be done by an independent scientific oversight body using open auditable code.
@alison_gillwald Which is why I believe a body like the ITU or some other scientific oversight body should create coverage maps with open auditable code and a standardized methodology applied to every country. Not even the ITU seem to have a standarized document that defines the edge of a cell.
@RIAnetwork@UCT_news @alexcomninos @IDRC There is also already a lot of scaremongering going around about the app tracking you - it definitely cannot track your location! Everyone should install the app. This is the closest we have to a digital version of a face mask.
@RIAnetwork@UCT_news @alexcomninos @IDRC The government is confusing people and this needs be be made clear: downloading the app is not zero rated, but data exchanged by the app is zero-rated.
