@Drdave_clarke She looks very sweet ... No doubt there is a wonderful rescue companion out there for her - i will keep my eye's open😉

[Jenny Maher @drjennymaher]

@Drdave_clarke Thats the way it should be @Drdave_clarke - is it really that long!!

[Jenny Maher @drjennymaher]

@DrTWyatt @ConversationUK Indeed, one of our experts from our Puppy Trade research (https://t.co/ivIBsLUeuI) directly followed over 52,000 pups for sale to the UK from Ireland, when the trade database indicated a trade of 3,000! Many of which pass through the boarder to the North.

@Drdave_clarke David, so good to see them both 😘- they were certainly the lucky ones to end up on your floor....no doubt in the months ahead there will be many more hoping for a similar outcome!

[Jenny Maher @drjennymaher]

@Drdave_clarke Ah Dave. What a pair, they are starting to like oldies. Our Buffy passed away 1.5years ago - end of an era...we have a new girl, our first failed rescue! Hope the midlands are treating you all well

Conservation NGOs and policymakers sometimes take up policies that are not based on evidence but on "good stories".
