Can't quite believe it - 2 images succeeding in this year's Landscape Photographer of the Year! 'Porlock Skeleton' Highly Commended in Coast, 'Guided Buses' commended in Urban - unbelievable!
Congrats to all my fellow photographers - some amazing inspiring shots there!! #lpoty
An early season trip to @skomer_island hoping to catch a puffin in a patch of bluebells - failed dismally on that, but a fab day nonetheless - love the expression on this one's face! f6.8 at 400mm if that's of interest!! #WexMondays@SonyAlpha@visitwales
Dear general public - sorry we (GPs/primary care/NHS) can’t offer service you would like or need - we are working at 120% & demand outstripping supply - every practice is short staffed & under funded. New IT/phone lines might help a bit. But unescapable fact just not enough GPs
Why it might be hard to see a GP
27000 total - 1900 fewer than 2010
130000 Hospital Drs - 29000 more than 2010
7% increase in population
15% increase in the number of patients per GP

Everything wrong with our politics, in one story:
Hedge fund manager buys large estate on Dartmoor.
Uses vast fortune to challenge the right to camp there. Wins.
Local people call on their MP to amend the legislation.
Discover he's been funded by the hedge fund manager.
I spoke with two GP practices in Sheffield for this but it could have been anywhere and the message would have been the same. I speak to many GPs every week all over the country and this is the reality. V sick patients, demand through the roof, 12h days, exhausted staff.
@sambinding I'll def message you nearer the time - hopefully some more inspiring conditions will restore both our mojo! Regardless of social media, still want to get out and get some images...
