@ox_anna29 We did, got imposed an unfair contract by Jeremy Hunt. The public watched it happened and the same doctors worked through Covid. Most of that cohort either left the UK or are now consultants (who are standing with the resident doctors)

It’s so easy to spread misinformation. In 2016 Jeremy Hunt imposed a less than favourable contract, leading to the most senior trainees getting a net pay cut. The first pay rise was awarded in 2023 (over two years) but overall the pay is still below inflation.
