Life begins now -- right now -- not tomorrow or the next day or the next. Every minute of every hour of every day, life begins anew. That means everything can change in an instant. It also means you can have a new beginning whenever you want.
The golden child is the ‘easy’ child who has learned to suppress their own needs. They tend to raise themselves and suffer silently as a result of never getting true emotional support.
The voice in the head has a life of its own. Most people are at the mercy of that voice; they are possessed by thought, by the mind. And since the mind is conditioned by the past, you are then forced to reenact the past again and again.
Part of my self-love practice is being aware of & sending love & gratitude to my younger self. She did such a good job of setting me up for success & she is a survivor! I’m getting these framed together so I can see her & send her love every day! 💖
4 myths about the inner critic:
1. We are only hurting ourselves.❌
2. We are stuck with it.❌
3. It helps motivate us.❌

Forgive yourself for not being at peace. The moment you completely accept your non-peace, your non-peace becomes transmuted into peace. Anything you accept fully will get you there, will take you into peace. This is the miracle of surrender.
6. We have to identify our “safe”people and practice expressing our needs to them- and if we have to stand up for ourselves with someone who isn’t safe & trusted- then we can role play to practice to gain the confidence to advocate for ourselves.
5. So then, the challenge becomes- Who in my life can I trust with my true self? Who in my life am I safe with? And we can make decisions based on the answers to those questions.
