Dear @CityofRedDeer@YourAlberta I’ve been in Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa, and Nelson this summer. None of these places have a homeless epidemic / undesirable downtown like Red Deer (or Edmonton and Calgary). Perhaps do what they are doing? I’d start with Quebec.
Hey @Marriott@MBonvoyAssist I’m in Quebec City at the Delta and boy am I disappointed. This hotel is part of the brand?!? I doesn’t deserve the name. The salt in the wound? The absurd cost. #shouldhavestayedattheHolidayInn
Hey @SportChek , tried returning some @Nike we bought from you because they have fallen apart after 8 months… was told to contact @nikesupport - but they say to take them to you (see image). Who’s going to deal with this?!?
I want to address this comment on yesterday’s thread because it is a very common retort to my arguments against idea supremacy.
The retort references Popper’s Paradox and I believe misunderstands Popper’s point by flipping it on its head.
Here’s how I explain it in my book:
Thank you for your support colleagues @albertateachers ! And thank you to @jbgascoyne and @MsOTweets77 for running alongside me. I look forward to serving the teachers of Central South. #abed 🔥
Teachers, have you voted yet?
I can sum up my position very succinctly.
"Nothing changes until we are willing to say no." #SweetCarabine
🗳️ Voting is open 24/7 from now until 5pm on March 16.

The absolute absurdity that some adults believe witches and magic are real aside, the podcast had themes that matched the weekend. Most importantly, Voltaire was right, “I may not agree with what you have to say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.” #abed#ableg
With $$ millions going to charter schools this provincial budget, this column is a ‘must read’ for every Albertan.
It’s about children today, our collective future, and accountability for public $$.
