@dromin1 @Dr_Paul_Penn BPS figures are c.15% of Psychology graduates progress into one of the 7 practitioner pathways - not all complete those. That said, Psychology is the 2nd most popular degree and has relevance for all jobs.

@maggieh74 I felt the same with mine, which was also qual - this is why it’s hard to get qual papers accepted because the reviewers don’t have a good enough understanding of the method and make bogus comments that they think sound clever

You know, 'pensions' is such a misleading word. What has happened is a 35% salary cut in addition to a 20% salary cut over ten years.

You are now paid 55% less than you should be. Pause on that.

For clarity, #Augar said lower #unifees to £7500 to offset extension to #40years - Govt takes extension but not reduction "to save tax payers". Lies - Govt can pay fees (because it does) and set no interest - they choose not to. Most students DO pay back original loan amount

Boris Johnson just said workers should learn from Germany, where they "don't go to work when they're sick".

The proportion of workers' salary covered by sick pay is 100% in Germany. It's just 19% here.

@hcn63 My children have been going through this too and I tell them to speak up and ask for help. Please encourage your daughter to work with staff. Most do want to help - even if their university doesn’t support them. I am most worried about the silent students.
