@SMottershaw @maddi_pow Yes I can help with this. Personal Construct Psychology (founded by George Kelly and extended by others) explains this idea well - please reach out and I can share more about PCP and my book on using it in research to surface meanings of phenomena
Happy to be invited to speak at HE Professional’s conference yesterday to share our unique, award winning approach to embedding employability in Psychology@UoW that has delivered more great outcomes for our students and moved our course ranking up 30 places. @_UoW@UOWPsychology
Delighted to have had the opportunity to speak at this conference - had such a great response to our research on "navigating new normal" and the future of the office @maggieh74

Just about to run our session at the Future World of Work conference @_UoW with @drkimbc looking at navigating New Normal - great views and added benefit
@ITVXhelp@annpowell757 Same for us, no option to download apps or update to itvx on our 2 year old Sony Bravia - not available on Google Play store either. What’s going on?
This is the periodic reminder that millions of us watching shows like Happy Valley together is a benefit of free-to-air television and the investment in British content from a licence fee.
@dromin1@Dr_Paul_Penn BPS figures are c.15% of Psychology graduates progress into one of the 7 practitioner pathways - not all complete those. That said, Psychology is the 2nd most popular degree and has relevance for all jobs.
We've been inundated with calls about our campaign video. It's five years old, but still as relevant today - perhaps more so given the demise of franchising which now guarantees, heads, or tails, a win for the train operators. #RailStrike https://t.co/hU1D0NvnIy
#bbc#bbcnextpm the two way moving background screen is even more sick making than the two candidates. What are you doing? Just have a static background please.
@maggieh74 I felt the same with mine, which was also qual - this is why it’s hard to get qual papers accepted because the reviewers don’t have a good enough understanding of the method and make bogus comments that they think sound clever
You know, 'pensions' is such a misleading word. What has happened is a 35% salary cut in addition to a 20% salary cut over ten years.
You are now paid 55% less than you should be. Pause on that.
For clarity, #Augar said lower #unifees to £7500 to offset extension to #40years - Govt takes extension but not reduction "to save tax payers". Lies - Govt can pay fees (because it does) and set no interest - they choose not to. Most students DO pay back original loan amount
Boris Johnson just said workers should learn from Germany, where they "don't go to work when they're sick".
The proportion of workers' salary covered by sick pay is 100% in Germany. It's just 19% here.
@hcn63 My children have been going through this too and I tell them to speak up and ask for help. Please encourage your daughter to work with staff. Most do want to help - even if their university doesn’t support them. I am most worried about the silent students.
