Anyone else get the intense urge to disappear? To disappear from everyone's lives without leaving any trace? And be forgotten? It'd give me so much peace I don't want anyone to think about me.
@Muslim_ITCell Their contributions may vary, but Sharjeel Imam and Umar Khalid's unwavering stand against authoritarianism and tyranny in all its forms and always being on the right side of history will be written about in textbooks. They are the OGs.
i think it's important to have something to look forward to every day or every week, so when life drains you, it’ll help you to remember that you need to keep going a little longer because there's something waiting for you at the end of the week that might make you smile again.
I read it somewhere "We romanticized the wrong organ the stomach is more emotional than the heart" and it feels so true. We feel butterflies in our stomach and when we're sad we lose our appetite our stomach gets affected by emotions way more than we realize.
She was sick. She was widowed. She was alone. She was a single mother. And yet the only option society left her was to become entertainment for people. This is an example of what society does to women who don’t fit its standards.
When you become excessively dependent on someone, Allah will either remove or detach you from that person just to show you where your strength lies. Yes, we all need people in our lives but never as much as we need Allah He's the only One who won't disappoint
I hope you find the courage to walk away from anything and anybody who doesn’t value you, makes you unhappy in anyway and takes away your peace, you deserve better and I hope you find the courage to pursue a life filled with joy and peace and people who are good.
When your mental health isn't in the best state, give yourself a break. Don't feel guilty for things you can't do. Normal things like eating, enjoying shopping, sleeping, or socializing may be difficult. Rest, recover and be kind to yourself, and know the bad times are temporary.

HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED THIS?
1. Malls don't have windows - So you don't realize it's already getting dark outside.
2. Bars don't put up clocks - So you lose track of time and stay for hours without noticing.
3. Supermarkets place milk in the back corner - So you have to walk past dozens of aisles... and end up buying more.
4. Fast food restaurants use upbeat, fast music - So you eat quicker and leave sooner (so the next customer can take your seat).
5. Cafés play slow, relaxing music - So you stay longer... and order more.
Crazy, right? Everything is intentional.
