For thousands of years, money has enabled trust, trade, and economic growth. But what if the next stage of human progress makes money less essential?

As artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, renewable energy, and biotechnology continue to advance, many necessities—from healthcare and education to food and transportation—could become increasingly abundant and inexpensive. In a world where scarcity fades, the traditional role of money may gradually diminish.

The future may shift our focus from wealth accumulation to value creation. Success may no longer be measured by financial capital alone, but by health, knowledge, creativity, trust, and the positive impact we have on others.

Healthcare offers an early glimpse of this future. AI, precision medicine, genomics, and regenerative therapies are making care more accessible and proactive. The Return on Health (ROH) may one day become more valuable than the Return on Investment (ROI).

Yet even in a world without financial scarcity, new currencies will remain: time, attention, purpose, creativity, and authentic human relationships. These are assets technology cannot fully replace.

Money has always been a tool—not the destination. Perhaps the true wealth of the future will not be measured by what we own, but by who we become and how much we contribute to humanity.
