@ABBlueCross The more information is this: today @ABBlueCross is processing prescription requests received on April 28. If I want to start the medication right away, buy it on my own dime, and if the approval comes through, l can submit the receipt to have it covered.
What’s happening at @ABBlueCross ? My doctor prescribed a medication that can be dispensed only after Blue Cross approval. My pharmacist says it could take 4-6 weeks. This is unacceptable. I need it now.
@GaryRideout It’s only going to get worse. Those of us baby boomers are getting the old people’s afflictions, using up more of the system’s resources, and fewer medical graduates are attracted to family medicine. I have gone through 4 or 5 GPs in my time in Edmonton. I have a good one now.
@GaryRideout I have the odd decent reading in my doctor’s office, but mostly they’re over the top. Happily, my GP relies on the record l keep from the readings l take when going about my daily activities.
@GaryRideout This is the one baffling thing about the so-called Christians who support Trump. The extreme right wing Christians are another story of people completely bent out of shape.
There have been so many negative statements about President Trump lately, I’d like to say something in his favour. His wig looks so much better than the one he wore as 45. It is way better than Putin’s. And he was right to get new dentures as well. Image is everything.
@TedGBartlett I also made a couple of pilgrimages there. There is a soldier buried there whose letters home were the basis of a book. I forget the precise title, but the stories were by Mayo Lind. I think it was his granddaughter or niece, Bonnie Lind, who lived in Buchans for a time.
