The Sokoto State Ministry of Religious Affairs, led by Dr. Jabir Sani Maihula, in partnership with the Al Zaytun Education Foundation, today distributed 120,000 copies of the Holy Qur’an to mosques, Islamiyya schools, and Islamic centers.

The Hon. Commissioner received ACM Aliyu Baba, Zonal Commander RS10 HQ Sokoto, on a courtesy visit, today. Discussions centered on partnering with ulamas to raise road safety awareness. The Commissioner pledged full support.

A committee formed by the Honorable Commissioner and led by Malam Ahmad Helele inspected seven mosques in Sokoto. Commendations were given to mosques utilizing funds effectively, while others were urged to improve fund management. Inspections will continue.
