Energized to be at my first in person AAP meeting in 2+ years. It’s been a challenging time for all of us but especially for our patients struggling with depression and anxiety and stress. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek@AAPCA3@AmerAcadPeds

The number of books in a home correlates significantly with higher reading scores in children. A Reach Out and Read graduate will receive 10 culturally and developmentally appropriate books and important information on reading together during their well-child visits. 💕📚
Thank you for the opportunity to speak about today’s VRBPAC vote and the possibility that we can start protecting kids 5-11y with a COVID vaccine very soon!
@FamilyHealthSD@AAPCA3
As a pediatrician, I give vaccines to children all day, said Dr. Marsha Spitzer.

Incredibly grateful to science for my @pfizer booster today. Can’t wait until we can start vaccinating our 5-11 y/o patients to protect them and their families!
