LTCG tax was scrapped in 2004 to boost Indian market investments and STT was brought in to compensate for the tax deficit.

Now the LTCG tax is back, first 10%, now 12.5% and still the STT remains. 🤷🏻

And now the FIIs are pulling out.
How was this not foreseen ?

As soon as the food stalls came back occupying the roads and footpaths,the traffic jam is back. Few days ago, when the food stalls in MIDC were gone, there was absolutely no traffic.
Roads and footpaths are being used as commercial places without any fear of rules.

Anantam Junction at Kalyan shil road has become a joke. Vehicles casually drive on the wrong side of divider coming from Gharda Circle and cause congestion. No one is even bothered about the law or basic traffic rules.

Navi Mumbai International Airport is a disaster of management. Almost a thousand travellers stranded at the arrival Cab pick up area. Not a single cab. Airport shuttle is a joke, worse than getting on a ST bus at a busy ST stand. Airport staff is clueless. Part (1)

1.5 hrs just walking from one area to another at 11pm to 12:30 am and impossible to get out of the airport as the staff doesn't allow anyone outside the airport on foot.

Got a challan on my vehicle when it was standing still at a red signal in Thane with all other vehicles(All brake lights are on)

When in slow moving traffic, many time we have to stop near the intersection as the signal changes after we cross the light.

Booked ride. Tried calling the driver with no answer. Then the driver cancelled booking and I was charged cancellation fees. Customer support chat had no option to report this. What kind of system is this ?
