Great news! The FDA updated testosterone product labels today. The TRAVERSE trial found no increased CV risk, so the boxed warning is planned to be removed! However, a blood pressure warning has been added after ABPM studies. Use remains limited to men with medical conditions causing low T.
I couldn’t be prouder of Dr. Gal Saffati! Four years ago, after graduating from medical school in Costa Rica, he reached out to me with a simple yet ambitious request—to come to Houston and conduct research, all in the hopes of one day matching in Urology. Through years of relentless hard work, determination, and an unwavering commitment to his dream, I am thrilled to share that Dr. Saffati has not only achieved his goal of becoming a urologist but has matched at Baylor! I am truly honored to have the opportunity to train him over the next five years. Congratulations, Dr. Saffati—this is just the beginning of an incredible journey!
