#Vancouver gave me everything - my family, my career, my home. The next generation deserves the same. That's why I'm running with @kareemformayor and the @vanliberals. Time to get this city back on track. Please watch my launch video. #TogetherWeCan
Vancouver's rat population is growing every year, and Ken Sim has done nothing to address it.
Kareem Allam and Vancouver Liberals have a plan.

Three years ago today, something broke in our community that hasn't fully healed.
In the weeks that followed, it showed up in small ways. Friends calling their kids at university just to hear their voices. People tucking a Star of David under their collar before getting on the bus. Parents quietly asking whether it was safe to send their children to Hebrew school. Here, in Vancouver.
Grief has a way of settling in. You carry it into ordinary days. For many of us, it has come with a fear we never expected to feel in the city we call home.
But Jewish life has always been an act of memory and an act of continuation. We light the candles. We gather. We teach our children who they are, and we keep going.
Today I'm holding my family close, and every Jewish Vancouverite who woke up this morning carrying the weight of this day. You are not alone. This is your city too.
May the memories of all those lost be a blessing.

Three years ago today, Ben Mizrachi went to a music festival with friends. He was 22, a Vancouverite, and never came home.
Three years ago I condemned the attack, knowing full well the level of retaliation that could ensue.
This morning I'm thinking of his family and Jewish families across this city who have carried October 7 every day since. Many have felt less safe in their neighbourhoods, at school, at work, and at shul. Some felt those around them didn't see their grief, or dismissed it. I want to be one who sees it.
Antisemitism has no place in Vancouver. Jewish Vancouverites have every right to be fully, visibly, proudly Jewish here.
To Ben's family and everyone mourning today, we are with you. Thank you, Prime Minister, for your thoughtful words.

Vancouver Liberal council candidates and I are honoured to receive an endorsement from Unite Here Local 40, the union representing thousands of hospitality workers. I’m committed to a council where workers have a voice and housing is a human right.

Enough of using LGBTQ+ kids as political punching bags.
SOGI 123 is about age-appropriate resources, inclusion and preventing bullying. Protecting children means making sure every student can go to school safely, learn and be treated with dignity.
As a school trustee, I’ll stand up for that.
As we get closer to Election Day, I’ve been thinking about what campaigning is really about: listening, learning and kindness.
No matter the outcome, I think we’ll all walk away with lifelong friendships and a deeper, more empathetic understanding of our beautiful city.
Your tax dollars should go towards what matters - not vanity projects. We will cancel this $800M second city hall project and put that money into rinks, community centres, pools, and libraries.
Together We Can.
Vancouver doesn't need another City Hall to house more bureaucrats. It needs to invest in its frontline services, and that will be my priority, and the priority of a Vancouver Liberal government.
Together, we can.
As President of the @vanliberals, I'm proud of the team we've built, which includes three Jewish candidates and three candidates of Muslim heritage. We are committed to the things that unite us, not divide us.
Our focus is on making Vancouver a better place to live for everyone and keeping our politics local. We're here to do the business of the city and make sure every resident is safe and secure, without importing foreign conflicts into City Hall.
Seniors built this city. They should be able to stay in it.
Safer sidewalks. Bikes and scooters off the footpath. Free parking at Locarno and Spanish Banks. Clean washrooms. More disabled and caregiver parking. Faster seniors housing. Relief for new walk-in clinics. Senior centres that double as cooling spaces and more.
