I’m incredibly disappointed to share that our Terry Fox statue was vandalized.
We’ll repair the damage.
But what Terry stood for—courage, determination, and hope— that can never be damaged.
If you have information regarding this act of vandalism please report it to the RCMP Non-Emergency line at 604-945-1550 and reference file number 2026-800624
🎥 My message to our community:
We are taught that each of us is responsible for the world we leave behind, or as we say in my tradition, Tikkun Olam. That is why we run. And that is why we must educate our young ones so they can be the change of tomorrow.
Seeing @kareemformayor with the fifth grade class at Vancouver Talmud Torah today filled my heart.
@vanliberals #TogetherWeCan
Thank you Vancouver Talmud Torah (VTT) for the invitation to speak to your fifth grade class about municipal politics. The future of Vancouver is in very good hands.
It was so fun being at my alma mater with @kareemformayor and the @vanliberals team this afternoon. So many familiar faces, old teachers, and memories!
From the beginning there's only been one party fighting for students, fighting for seniors, fighting for small businesses, and fighting for families.
And that party is the Vancouver Liberal Party.

Ken Sim didn’t just try to get rid of the Park Board. He defunded it. When Gregor Robertson was mayor, parks were 16.5% of the city budget; today it’s 7.9%.
Ken Sim has also defunded the assets. His plan is $400 million for pools, community centres and field upgrades over the next 4 years. Our plan is $1.4 billion.
Vancouver Liberals will find the difference by cancelling Ken Sim’s $800 million second city hall project. Together we can.
Ken Sim keeps densifying the city while cutting the services that make Vancouver world class. Under Ken Sim there are more people fighting for fewer services. We need leadership not slogans and vibes.

Love seeing initiatives that make our streets and public spaces more pedestrian-friendly. A big thank you to the @VancouverPD and Special Constables (@RichardsonYVR) for helping create a safe, welcoming atmosphere where people can walk, connect, and enjoy our city. #ItalianDay
Door knocking is my favourite part of the campaign!
Today, my daughter, @DrMoiraStilwell , and I knocked on over 300 doors, meeting residents and hearing about the issues that matter most to them.
The momentum is shifting. People are not happy with the status quo and are ready for a new direction.
October 17 can't come soon enough. We will win! @vanliberals@kareemformayor

This was so much fun! Really enjoyed hearing from residents and working with you @votemichaelwu.
The @vanliberals team, under @kareemformayor’s leadership, is doing the work to ensure citizens are heard, and that good governance and accountability are restored at city hall!
Remember to vote Vancouver Liberals on Oct 17th!
