Who knew that 2 poor, young, single Black moms raised in MKE, educated in the lowest-performing district in the state wld eventually join the ~2% of Black female MD PhDs in the US. Stats would’ve never given us this chance, but here we are and it’s not by chance at all p ≤ 0.05
