A very emotional morning here on @GMA...I sat down with @michaelstrahan and his wonderful daughter Isabella who has been dealing with a private health issue. Now, she says she's ready to tell her story...her way...in hopes of helping others.
It's a great day for #cancer care in Columbus, where we've cut the ribbon on our proton therapy center at The James Outpatient Care. The state-of-the-art center brings effective, precision proton therapy to adult and pediatric cancer patients from The James and @nationwidekids.
In case you missed it, the live recording of our Division Chief Dr. Justin Baker's ‘Key Concepts in Pediatric Palliative Care‘ presentation during a recent Pediatric Grand Rounds is now available on YouTube!📺🐨🏥

This narrative is deeply personal to my grief experience as a pediatric psychologist caring for children with DIPG. Sometimes there is no sense to be made; ❤️s are shattered. Other days, I am humbled by the unforeseen gifts in spite of this cruel disease

@drsarahmccarthy@BostonChildrens@KerUnit What a powerful piece, Sarah. Thank you for sharing. I have no doubt Molly lives on in so many hearts and continues to be loved dearly by all who cared for her ❤️
I doubt I will ever write a more vulnerable article. This is dedicated to nurses and healthcare staff everywhere who show up every day and make the unbearable bearable. @BostonChildrens@KerUnit#childhoodcancer#pedpc#Grief https://t.co/pMxPSuh0nj
