Obesity isn’t just a word, it’s the mothership of most illnesses! From cancers to infertility and heart disease. Prevention is always better than cure, by simple changes in our lifestyle let’s together fight this silent but deadly epidemic. #MannKiBaat@PMOIndia@narendramodi
By stigmatising someone with Obesity you rob them of their rights to a fair battle with their own problems. Obesity is a disease and should be recognised as one @ASMBS@IfsoSecretariat@WHO
#VantageOnFirstpost: In a special conversation with one of India's leading Bariatric Surgeons, Dr. Muffazal Lakdawala, (@DrMuffi) Palki Sharma discusses the global obesity crisis. | @palkisu
A healthy lifestyle can save your life. For 15 years, @DrMuffi has been working hard to fight obesity in India. Thrilled to support him & @TheDigestive
Today is World Obesity Day.
This morning we had @DrMuffi at Buddha Garden, Worli Seaface, with his team of docs and those who have experienced his magic, speak to us about Obesity- it’s challenges, prevention/ way out.
Wishing @DrMuffi a very happy birthday!
I can’t ever forget his keen desire to work on covid control and his immeasurable contribution to Worli’s (and effectively India’s) first fully equipped in-house jumbo covid care centre at NSCI Dome. Our model was replicated across India
Two superstars when on the field. The same swagger, disdain for reputation of the opposition bowlers, oodles of talent, commanding respect and awe and chewing gum to seal it with a smile. @ivivianrichards@surya_14kumar Do you agree? @imAagarkar@YUVSTRONG12
Osotomy Association of India and many osotomy patients have brought to my notice the difficulties and hardships faced by them. They are requesting that Ostomates should be included in the list of disabilities.
If we were not blessed to have the selfless services of these courageous young women & men. #COVID19 would have resulted in more suffering & far higher mortality rates than it did. We shall remain indebted for your service #HappyNurseDay@WHO
#WeThePeople | "We are not over with #COVID19 yet. By removing the mask mandate, the government has shifted the responsibility to every individual... We should continue to mask in public places": Dr Muffazal Lakdawala, advisor to the BMC for Covid jumbo facilities
@Simrankhara1@ndtv I personally believe that asking kids <5/6 yrs to mask up makes no sense as they cannot mask up properly even if they try.
If we can have schools with open well ventilated classrooms along with responsible parents & teachers we don’t need to mask kids in primary & 2dary schools
