Laugh Out Loud with all our funny children's books!
With great books like The Wizard in my Shed or The Misadventures of Max Crumbly, they are sure to get your children giggling!
What are you reading this weekend?
We are picking up the bestseller, I Want to Die But I Want to Eat Tteokbokki by Baek Sehee, which is perfect for the week of Time to Talk day.
It's book of the month time!
In February, we recommend trying the popular Girl, Woman, Other by Bernadine Evaristo.
Girl, Woman, Other tracks the lives and loves of a dozen British women through generations and social classes weaving together a tapestry of modern British life.
As part of Time to Talk Day, Karen from Stamp Out Stigma will be at Droitwich Library from 10:15 - 10:45 to talk to the community about reducing stigma through encouraging and normalising conversations around discrimination and its impact on mental wellbeing.
Did you know we have Reading Well collections for children, teens and adults?
Reading Well supports you to understand and manage your health and wellbeing using helpful reading in our wide collection of books.
Is your child learning to read?
At he Library, we have our Early Reader book collection to help support your children in learning their phonics and building up their confidence.
There are so many stories to choose from like classic fairy tales, to monsters or even Horrid Henry.
What are you reading this weekend?
We have picked up the gritty and gripping Godkiller by @hanfrankan, and we are hooked by the very shocking beginning of the story.
If you want to read this, then you can reserve it on our handy Libraries Catalogue!
There's six days left to borrow our January Book of the Month, Fingers in the Sparkle Jar!
They're going out fast, so come along if you don't want to miss out.
