@kylofone Good luck, prepare yourself for a couple of weeks. My wife went in for a PEG in Oct and we insisted on a side room rather than being on the main ward. That helped massively.

@docsimsim @margheritaandME She didn’t really want to do it but we were facing a legal battle with our GP so she decided to go through with it. It feels like the equivalent of having a broken leg and putting a plaster on it.

She has asked if anyone that has experienced this has any advice on managing the hospital environment?

Her light and sound intolerances are very bad now so she is very worried. #SevereME

@docsimsim @margheritaandME Thanks for the message. It was difficult on the ward but she got through it. At home with the PEG fitted now and trying to put a bit of weight back on. How are you doing?
