Honestly... I think @Xfinity & @XfinitySupport are about the worst imaginable company. I've been on the phone with them for 7 plus hours over the weekend, plus a trip to their store to get this new @Mariners TV situation sorted. And here we are today.... udderly no regard for their customers.
The Mariners have also chosen to add difficulty to their fan's experience. Three different subscriptions to watch games is ridiculous. I'm not sure if I need to be a fan that badly, even though 2 and 3 years ago we went to the Press Club 20 games of the season.
We're having to work harder than ever, downgrade on things, and this is the one little thing we're splurging on these days is now requiring multiple calls, transfers, holds to sort. Your fans are your customers.
Washington State has allowed itself to become uncompetitive business-wise with new taxes & regs, and it's really showing in freight/trucking. 2025 feels like it's down 30% compared to 2018, the last 'normal' year here.
I know that there's about 300 vacant LTL doors that I know if in the market. Seattle isn't a breakbulk, so facilities are never large here, so that number is significant.
Truckload rates are 50-60% of a 'normal' market here.
It's simply too geographically disadvantaged to overcome the new government headwinds to business. Add tech job reductions, and you have a disaster, that is only gaining momentum.
