Conexus distributed glasses to 30 students at Harrowgate Elementary @ccpsinfo this morning and for most of these children, the pair of glasses they received today was their very first pair! For these kids, poor vision will no longer be a barrier to success in the classroom.
I’m very grateful to @liz4schoolboard for proposing a resolution to protect the rights of transgender and non-binary students @RPS_Schools and to the School Board for passing it last night. Excellent example of our motto: Teach, Lead, Serve with Love.
