If roof needs replaced there's things you can do to improve cooling. Air gap. Materials.

Same with house paint/coatings

Set schedules. Or remote control. Control air handler fan through thermostat app.

When outside air cooler run it. Open windows doors to draw in cool air blow out hot and new air in attic. Also cools attic blowing out the hot air.
